Delivery Information
As our business has grown from a Trade-only supply whereby all customers collected goods, we can only offer national delivery via courier. The price is purely determined on the weight of your goods. We can only arrange this service and charge it to you at the prices they quote.
Alternatively, we will hire a suitable vehicle and deliver the goods ourselves, but the delivery is still chargeable. Usually all local deliveries are free. Please contact us to find out how much it will cost to deliver.
We will telephone you to arrange a suitable delivery time, and will place the furniture in the room of your choice and remove all packaging before leaving. For us to enjoy continued success we are well aware that you have to be pleased with your purchase and every aspect of the way in which we have dealt with your order.
Returns Policy
Deposits
Deposits are non-refundable. If you decide to cancel your order, we cannot refund your deposit.
Return of Standard goods
We operate a "no-quibbles" guarantee, which means that if you are unhappy with your purchase, simply return it to us unused, and in its original condition within 14 days from date of delivery/collection. We will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item. Any claims for non-functionality must be made in writing within 14 days on receipt of goods.

Please pack the item securely, enclosing the completed form and attaching the address label supplied on the returns form. (For your own protection we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. This does not affect your statutory rights). You can of course bring the item back yourself if you have suitable transportation.
Made To Measure Goods
All items are checked for specification against customers dimensions and drawings. Quality is checked on completion and a digital image of the item is recorded.
If on receipt of your Made To Measure goods, or within 14 days, you find the item to be either faulty, damaged, or not to your specifications, you must contact us. Any claims for damage or non-functionality must be made in writing within 14 days on receipt of goods.
We will arrange for an inspection visit or ask you for a detailed description and photograph of the problem. If you have a legitimate reason or if an error has been made at the factory, we will replace the goods. If we are notified of a problem after 14 days of receipt of goods, on-site adjustments will be offered at a chargeable hourly rate.
Right to Cancel (Standard items ordered by phone, fax or internet)
In addition, under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations you may cancel your order within seven working days commencing from the date on your order details if you ordered by telephone, fax or through the website. Cancellations must be made in writing.
You will, however, be responsible for the costs of returning any goods to us if you decide to cancel within 7 days after receiving the goods (unless these goods are faulty or have been delivered by us in error). If you have paid a deposit for a ‘Made To Measure’ order, this cannot be refunded because personalised items are not included in these regulations and we must cover materials cost).
All goods remain Old Sawmills property until paid for in full. Prices and manufacturers specifications subject to change without notice. Minor specification variations do not entitle the purchaser to rescind the contract. A restocking fee of up to 25% is charged on returns, which prove to be non-defective though claim to be so.
You must not interfere or try to repair goods yourself as this will deem the refund policy invalid. We do not send advance replacements. You are responsible for ensuring safe delivery of the returned item. We are not responsible for any consequential loss or expenses, howsoever caused, including returns costs.

We offer a wide range of colours and finishes. For details of the individual finishes offered, consult the individual product for a list of colours it is available in.
